Fall 2018

A recap of my fall & my favorite blog posts from fall 2018!

Here are my fall 2018 photos & a recap of my favorite fall blog posts!

Fall is my favorite season.  I love the slightly cooler temperatures & the changing leaves!

Too bad this fall was super short!  It was really hot for like a week & then we dived right into winter!  I’m super disappointed that we didn’t get a really long fall this year!  The leaves didn’t even have time to change on our big maple trees outside!  They were green forever & then the changed for a day & were gone!  No pictures by the trees this year!  I did manage quite a few leaf pictures, though!  It’s a total #basic thing to do, but I love it!

Fall Decorating | Mums in Milk Cans

As usual, we decorated outside for fall.  One of my favorite additions to our yard display this year were the milk cans we picked up at a yard sale earlier in the summer.  I absolutely loved how the mums looked in them!  It was one of those super easy things that looked amazing!

Another favorite thing I acquired this fall was my ceramic pumpkin!  It’s just so cute &, once again, the mums looked fantastic in it!  I can’t wait to do this again next year!

I kept my wreaths super simple this year.  My intent was to eventually change out these wreaths on our front doors for something more fancy, but I just never got around to it!  I thought they looked super cool for the saying being from the Dollar Tree & the old corn husk wreaths I had from last year!  Maybe I can get another year out of the corn husk wreaths?!

Fall Porch 2018

When we took our porch swing down for the season, I decided to throw together a little last minute fall porch vignette!  It was super simple, but I loved how it turned out!  The wooden pumpkin was a yard sale find this year that I just couldn’t pass up!

I also got a little crafty this fall & made a few word art mixed media canvas projects!  I can’t wait to make more for the Christmas season!

And then, just like that, fall was over!  It was time to put the pumpkins away & locate the Christmas decorations!

I wish fall could last forever, but it’s winter now!
