Ceramic Pumpkin

Styling a ceramic pumpkin found at the thrift store!

Check out this ceramic pumpkin I got at a thrift store!

When I saw this on display, I knew I had to have it!  There was another customer also looking at the display, so I wanted to get it ASAP.  The problem was, I was carrying a large piece of furniture (to be revealed in a future post!) & I couldn’t grab it!  My husband was already at the register, so I’m trying to quietly motion for him to come over & pick it up for me.  Of course, he’s not understanding my dire situation, but I finally get him to come over & get it!

When we got it home, I noticed some engraving on the bottom.  It was made in the late 1960s & had a personalized message!  I thought it was cool before, but it’s even cooler now!

As you can see, I styled it for the blog by putting mums in it &, since they looked so good, I decided to leave them like that for now.  I brought it back in the house & I’m planning on using it as my table centerpiece for as long as the mums stay alive!
