My husband & I have a tradition of making grape jelly every year.

It started with my father-in-law's grapes.  He passed away 5 years ago & left behind wild concord grapes growing on his property.

We don't take care of the grapes at all but noticed they were producing a lot of grapes.  We made jelly with the grapes a couple times when the crop was good.

This year the grapes didn't yield anything but we still wanted to make grape jelly.  For the first time, I found myself searching for vineyards that sell grapes.

We are lucky to live in a large grape growing area.  There are tons of vineyards & wineries.

I ended up finding a place that sells concord grapes not far from our house.

I know yesterday was the first day of fall but you couldn’t tell by the weather.  I was outside for a little while & was actually sweating, which is an incredible feat for me because I’m cold like 99% of the time!

Remember the sewing tables I got at our local Habitat For Humanity ReStore?

When I got them, I painted them & proudly photographed them & then put them in my basement for approximately 4 months while I tried to find the perfect spot for them in our house.  I also forgot about them.  Both explanations kind of fit here!

Fall TV premieres!

I honestly couldn’t care less about the weather as long as it stays out of the way of my TV viewing.

Fall TV is my personal Super bowl.  Last year, my satellite went dark the week of most of the TV premieres and didn’t come back on for almost a month.  As a result, I missed out on a ton of shows so this year I’m extra excited!

Going through the list, it seems like there are a ton of new premieres this time around.
