I know yesterday was the first day of fall but you couldn’t tell by the weather. I was outside for a little while & was actually sweating, which is an incredible feat for me because I’m cold like 99% of the time!
Remember the sewing tables I got at our local Habitat For Humanity ReStore?
When I got them, I painted them & proudly photographed them & then put them in my basement for approximately 4 months while I tried to find the perfect spot for them in our house. I also forgot about them. Both explanations kind of fit here!
Well last week we got some pumpkins from a local farm & I raked out a little spot on the side of our house to put them. Then I remembered the sewing tables in the basement & finally got around to making a little fall display yesterday. It’s far from complete, but it’s a start.
As an added bonus, the tables are kind of hiding some of the ugly stuff we have going on with the outside of our basement, like where the furnace used to come in!
