That's my middle name, as I juggle being a content creator, managing partner of my own company, and a house flipper!

Our Home Renovation Journey and Beyond

It all started back in 2015 when I began documenting our home renovation saga. My husband, James, and I transformed a foreclosure into our dream nest, full of memories and love. Our home was our canvas, and we painted a picture of creativity and DIY spirit together.

James, a carpentry, construction, and remodeling wizard, was my partner in turning rundown spaces into stunning homes. 

Embracing New Chapters 

My story took a twist in our little hometown, where James and I blossomed from childhood friends to life partners in 2007. We embarked on a beautiful parenting journey as foster parents, leading to the adoption of our son in December 2021.

Tragically, in the same month, I lost James to metastatic melanoma. This profound loss at 34 made me a new mom and a widow, reshaping my path. Now, I'm navigating this new life, balancing motherhood and leading our house-flipping ventures, all while honoring the legacy of our love.

• My heart's anchored in my rural hometown, a community that's been my rock.
• Growing up amidst farm life's joys, I now live vicariously through my neighbors' farms.
• My garden is my sanctuary, a labor of love I'm eager to share with my son.
• Thrift store hunts? That's my kind of adventure, with 95% of my home décor being thrifted finds. Our house remodels have also benefited greatly from upcycled treasures.
• I'm passionate about turning the forgotten into fabulous, a skill James and I cherished in our 'trash to treasure' projects.

With my company, T&J Maintenance, I'm taking on the challenge of flipping houses, carrying forward our shared dream with every renovation. It's not just about revamping spaces; it's about weaving stories and memories into every home.
