So…here’s the thing:

I’m not an artist.

As much as I want to, I’ll never be someone who creates magnificent art.  I try to be proficient at a lot of different art types, but I don’t think I’ll ever be super great at anything. I love to experiment with different art, though!

Here’s something weird about me:  I like to do something to the max for a while & then completely abandon it.  Like I’ll eat the same meal for days & then wait months & months before I’ll have it again.

This happened with mixed media art.

A few years ago, I had this idea that I was going to put quotes on canvas & create a type of mixed media art.  I spent weeks creating my ‘art’.  I was in the zone with my paint & my letters & my Mod Podge.

Then I abandoned it all…until now.

Since Halloween is quickly approaching, I had this idea to create my ‘quote art’ again.  I dug my Cricut machine out of storage & got to work.  I decided to start with a simple quote to see if I could get into making stuff like that again…

And I loved it!

I loved it so much that I made another “Just Here For The Boos” canvas the next day using different colors!

Then I chose a different quote & made another canvas!  That post with the free printable will be coming soon!

But…now back to the boos!

I’m sharing the template I made for my "Just Here For The Boos” canvas as a free printable!  If you have a Cricut, you could cut it out to make a canvas like me, or you can just print it off & display it!  I made it an 8x10 so it’s super easy to put in a frame if you have one!
