Pumpkins

Pumpkins in the wagon!

Here’s a look at the pumpkins I had in my yard this year!  It was a mix of store bought large pumpkins & local farm pumpkins!

I finally got rid of my pumpkins last week!

Alright…so that’s kind of a lie.

They’re actually still sitting there like that on the wagon, waiting to be put into the yard where they’ll hopefully grow into a beautiful pumpkin patch next year.  But…they’re moved to the back yard, which a win in my book!  Also, my book is very forgiving, apparently!  At least they’re out of the front yard!  That’s a start!

The cleanup is the worst part for me.  Surprisingly, though, it didn’t take very long this year.  I hooked my little wagon up to the lawn mower & got to work!  I was done in no time at all!  I also didn’t realize how many pumpkins I actually had until I had to take them all away!  They were overflowing in the wagon!

Since we didn’t grow our own pumpkins this year, we had to buy everything.  I caught a sale at a local grocery store & picked up a few large pumpkins earlier in the season.  Then, a local farm stand had some, so I picked a ton up there!  I think my favorite ones were the small ones I picked up at the local farm.  They were just too cute!

Pumpkins are so fun to decorate with!  We usually just scatter them everywhere throughout our front yard!  I always end up going overboard with buying pumpkins, but I just love them so much!  Hopefully, we’ll have our own pumpkin patch next year to decorate with!
