Banana Bread

The very best banana bread recipe!

I've been using this banana bread recipe for months & it is the absolute best!

I had some very ripe bananas so I made a few loaves a couple days ago.

Because this is one of my go-to recipes, I finally wrote the recipe down.  I had a screenshot on my tablet & it was kind of difficult to keep looking back to it!  I'm also kind of a messy baker, so my tablet would be covered in flour by the end of making this recipe!

The funny thing about the screenshot I took was that it didn't have the website name on it anywhere at all.  I really wanted to include the original recipe for the blog & give credit to the author, so I searched Google for the recipe.

This proved to be quite the task!  There are about a million different banana bread recipes out there! I searched for what felt like forever but I finally found it!

When I made the banana bread the other day, I doubled the recipe because I had 6 bananas.  My KitchenAid mixer was working overtime trying to mix that all together!  I definitely don't recommend trying to make double the recipe all at once!

I usually add walnuts & chocolate chips to the banana bread.  When I made it the other day, I was out of walnuts & didn't want to chance adding anything more to the mixer, so I made it plain.  I've honestly never made it that way before, but it was still delicious!

I made so much that I ended up freezing a few loaves for later.  I don't know why I bothered freezing it, though!  It never lasts too long in our house anyway!  It really is that good!
