I'm Making Signs

I'm making hand painted wooden signs!

Things have been a little quiet over here on blog lately...that's because I have been making signs!

My sign making started on a whim when I found some random wood cutouts & thought they would make the perfect signs.

Because I had to buy the wood cutouts in bulk, I decided to sell some of the signs.

It has been a fun little hobby to keep me busy.  I'm trying to make a little side hustle out of it to get a little extra cash.

I'm releasing the signs in special edition releases.  In the fall release, I'll have 36 signs available.  Each sign is hand painted & unique.  I'm having a lot of fun trying out different color combinations.

I currently have 2 signs in the fall release complete.

We cut out the boards last week so now it's on to painting & assembly.  I like that everything comes together fairly quickly.  The longest part is the drying time!

For now, I'm just selling locally.  I want to be able to ship my signs but it looks like it would cost a lot to ship them.  I'm also thinking of doing craft shows but I'm not sure yet.  This is new territory for me so I'm still trying to work everything out!  If you have any advice on craft shows or shipping, let me know in the comments.  I need all the advice I can get!
