Here are some things I found while I was thrifting recently!





I thought I had a lot more thrifting finds this time!  When I was getting ready to set up my thrifting photoshoot, I was surprised to only find these few items!

Bird House




I got this bird house at an awesome yard sale.  Well, their yard was more awesome than their actual sale!  It was an older couple who were getting ready to move.  They had lived in their house for years & made tons of improvements.  Their yard was fantastic.  The husband at the sale made this really awesome arbor & they trained a tree to go inside it.  I should have gotten a picture because it was that awesome!

The husband at the sale also made this bird house.  It came with a metal top that is currently detached.  I plan on painting this bird house & reattaching the top.

Picture Frame


I got this frame at the same yard sale as the bird house.  I’m a huge fan of old & empty frames!  There are so many possibilities!

I love how Natalie from Vintage Porch turned an old frame into a mood board.  As you can see in some of the pics, I also picked up an old corkboard.  I plan to wrap it with fabric & put it in the frame!  I’m not sure if I’m going to paint the frame yet, but I probably will!
Empty frames are also so fun to pose in!


Lawn Cart




I don’t know what to call this.  It’s not a wheelbarrow…so I guess a lawn cart?

Whatever it’s called, I love it so much!  When I’m thrifting, there are some things that I know I want to keep for myself.  This cart was one of them!  The possibilities are endless for decorating with this cart!  It’s sitting empty right now.  It might be a little late for decorating it for summer, but I can’t wait to decorate it for fall!  I can see pumpkins spilling out of it!  I’m sure you’ll also see the lawn cart a lot as the seasons change & I decorate it!

I still plan on doing a little popup shop at the end of August!  I’m going to be taking some of these pieces, giving them a makeover & then selling them!  I also have tons & tons of stuff I’ve accumulated over the years that I’m selling too.  A lot of stuff needs a little finishing, so I’ll be working on that too!
