Midnight, Texas is a thrilling new show airing Monday nights on NBC!

It’s a very rare occurrence for me to find a show that I love from the very beginning. 

I’m happy to say that Midnight, Texas is one of those shows!

The show is a supernatural thriller based on the Midnight, Texas books by Charlaine Harris.  I had never heard of the series before but now the books are in my Amazon cart!  I can’t wait to read them!

Charlaine Harris is best known for The Southern Vampire Mysteries, which were adapted into the television series, True Blood.  Because I live a very sheltered life, I missed out on the True Blood craze, but I’m happy to be onboard for Midnight, Texas!

Midnight, Texas is a supernatural thriller centered around a town that attracts all kinds of mystical situations & people.  The show begins with Manfred Bernardo (François Arnaud) hitting the road in his RV & heading to Midnight.  He’s a psychic trying to escape from the mysterious Hightower & he’s guided to Midnight by the spirit of his dead grandmother, who once lived there.  When he arrives, he is met by several mythical characters & they end up banding together to defeat the evil happenings in their town.

I know this show has mixed reviews, but I’m really enjoying it so far.
