I'm slowly getting into organizing mode with my house. I've collected so many great things from thrift stores over the years & I never really displayed anything. But, honestly, home decorating intimidates me to no end. But, in the spirit of doing whatever I want, I'm giving it a go!
Here's my little front entryway styled to the max. I thought I always wanted less stuff, but I just wanted fewer things on the ground. I couldn't care less about the walls! Luckily, I have so many wall things to hang up! Maybe my style would be called "organized clutter"?! Is that a thing?
My goal right now is to get everything up from the basement & onto the walls. From there, I can rearrange.
I'm also going to get rid of many things that I can no longer use or like. I have a lot going on this summer & I want to make it easier to keep my house clean. Sometimes I feel like I'm drowning in stuff & it's difficult to clean. So I'm now on a mission to either display or get rid of things.
The entryway was a little area I spruced up with my thrifted finds. I already had a few things there (the coat rack & boot tray), but I wanted to add to it. The clock is also a prominent fixture. It's completely obnoxious, but I can't live without it! I unintentionally trained myself to look at it & get so messed up when it runs out of batteries!
