The Table

Table rescued from the yard sale free pile

This table has been at my parents’ house for years.

They’ve unsuccessfully tried to sell it every year in their yard sale.  It used to be in pristine condition so I have no idea why it didn’t sell.  It’s totally Instagram & Pinterest worthy!  As a matter of fact. when I spotted the same table on Megan Miller’s Instagram feed, I knew I had to write about it!

Anyway, when it was dug out of the garage for the sale this year, we found it in terrible disrepair.  Because it is literally falling apart, of course no one was interested in buying it this year, so it ended up in the free pile.  Seeing an opportunity, my mom & I gently moved it by our truck so I could take it home!

My husband was totally against saving this table.  He practically threw it in the truck, but it made it home!  I told him that I just wanted to use it as an outdoor table until it finished falling apart, but now I’m having second thoughts!  It’s just too pretty to let rot away!

It’s sitting on our (somewhat) covered porch currently awaiting its fate…but you know I’m totally going to bring it inside!

PS:  I love how one of the pictures shows the table leg all weird & falling apart!  It totally captures the vibe of the table!  Haha!Table rescued from the yard sale free pileTable rescued from the yard sale free pile
