Planting the 2020 garden!
We went big with this year's garden!
After the success of our tomato seedlings, we ended up with our largest garden to date!
This year, we planted a little bit of everything. Because we planted so many things, I'm working on another post that lists everything.
The only plants we bought this year for the garden were the pepper plants. Everything else we started from seeds.
We've never started this may veggies from seeds before, so I'm excited to see how they'll turn out!
We planted the garden during Memorial Day weekend. The temperatures were finally warm enough to plant outside!
I was a little hesitant to show you the garden this year. All of our plants are still super tiny! We started our tomato growing journey super late, so the plants aren't super mature quite yet. We also started quite a few things directly into the garden, so things are just starting to come up.
Despite their small size, everything is looking okay so far. Some tomatoes are doing a lot better than others. We even had a few tomato plants disappear so we had to replace a few. We're thinking a small animal is getting in there & eating the top of the tomatoes off! Once the plants grow up a little, I think things will be better.
Hopefully everything does well this year! We've never done a traditional garden set up so I'm anxious to see how it will do!
I'll be back tomorrow to go in depth on everything we planted in the garden, including the one million pumpkins we planted!
