Goldenrod Flowers

     

My husband & I went to an arboretum last week.  It was my first time ever going!  I thought I would hate it, but I really loved it!  We did a ton of walking, but it actually wasn’t too bad because we took our time.  We ended up spending 4+ hours there & I want to go back to explore more!

I made the mistake of bringing my camera!  I say ‘mistake’ because I ended up taking about a gazillion photos!  I’m still trying to edit my way through them all (you can see sneak peeks on Instagram!), but I thought I’d share some of them with you today!

So…here’s the thing.  An arboretum/botanical garden has a ton of different trees & flowers.  We went though sooo many gardens of perfect flowers.  You know what I took a lot of pictures of?  The goldenrod flowers!  Now, goldenrod flowers are found everywhere!  I have a million of them around my house.  They’re in fields & yards everywhere, so you would think I wouldn’t be so fascinated with them, but I am!

Even though I wasn’t really paying attention to my surroundings, I somehow managed to take pictures of the goldenrod in a variety of areas.  I love the ones with the pond in the background!
