Fall Leaf

Fall Leaf

Fall is in full swing over here and the colors are absolutely beautiful.

Our house has the most incredible views of the seasons changing.  It might be because it’s our first year here and I’m super biased, but it seems like the seasons have been super vibrant in this house.  It totally helps that there are windows everywhere! I feel like I have a front row seat to the fall and I couldn’t be happier.

In other news, I’ve been slightly under the weather for the past week.  It was one of those annoying sicknesses where I’ve been sluggish but still somewhat functional.  I’ve been sick enough where I want to sleep all day, yet well enough where I just keep pushing along.  I think it’s coming to an end so I’m looking forward to getting my energy back!  This morning I even worked on a new drink recipe for my Thanksgiving drink series.  I can’t wait to share it here.

Fall Leaf

I guess I’ll just keep it short and sweet today.  I hope you’re having a great day wherever you are!

Costume or Not, Here I Come!

So, guess what? I got Halloween night off work—talk about a last-minute treat! Looks like my festive Halloween tee is doubling as my costume this year. Hey, it's the spirit that counts, right?

Treat Bags on the Fly

James and I went into full-on treat bag assembly mode when we found out I'd be home. It's our first Halloween in the new place, so we're unsure how many little ghouls and goblins will appear. But let's be real—I'm secretly hoping to snag a bag or two of candy for myself!

A Punch Bowl's Second Act

P.S. Our "candy bowl" is actually a punch bowl I scored at the ReStore last week. Talk about repurposing!
