7 blog designs that I’m loving right now!
I don’t know if I ever mentioned this, but I used to create my own websites.
Thinking back, I got my start creating websites about 20 years ago now! Wow, does time fly by or what?!
I’m also feeling very, very old!
Anyway…
I first started making websites using the old drag & drop site editors. Then, I graduated to HTML, which is customizing an entire site using written code. I would customize entire websites &, later on, blogs! It was a lot of fun getting everything ‘just right’!
These days, I still enjoy making graphics & customizing this blog the best I can. HTML isn’t quite as fun anymore (nowadays, I find it soo tedious!)!
But! I’m dusting off my html/graphic skills & I’m gearing up for a blog redesign! It still might be a long ways off, though. I really want to update some of my posts first with better/more pictures. I also want to group together some of my posts to create a nice landing page for the stuff I talk about a lot (gardening, home remodeling, etc.). Once that’s all done, I’ll move on to the main blog design.
When I’m first thinking about a blog redesign, I always look at other blog designs for inspiration! I recently did just that & found 7 designs that I really love & that have inspired me!
Here they are & why I love them!
(Aww Sam)
I love the fun graphics & bright colors! I also love how the navigation is easily accessible! This blog is super fun!
I love the cute title graphic & overall whimsy, yet simple feel of this blog! It’s cute without being too overwhelming!
This blog design is really cute! I love the colors & navigation next to the blog title!
The title graphic is super cute & I love her graphics!
Once again, super cute! I love that the blog title is on the side. Navigating the site is super easy with the main things on the top & the most recent post front & center!
This blog design is super simple with a little pop of color. I love that everything is easily accessible & super clean!
I love the cute title image! I’m also obsessed with the main graphic/navigation graphic setup with the blog underneath!
